Dear NHM users, Officers from the Oswestry and Ellesmere Safer Neighbourhood Teams have previously patrolled, and continue to patrol, outside schools in the area to help improve safety at these locations.
These patrols provide a visible presence for children, parents, school staff and other members of the public, helping to address concerns about illegal parking, speeding and other issues that occur outside school grounds.
The patrols usually take place during school drop-off and pick-up times but may also be completed during the school day whilst pupils are hard at work in their lessons.
Officers are always happy to engage with the community, and these patrols are an excellent opportunity to do so. If you see a member of the Team outside your school, feel free to say hello or stop for a chat.
